House warming gift.

My dear friend has moved into an adorable home. She has decided to down size to make things easier for herself.  I wanted to make her feel welcome the minute she unloaded the moving truck. The day before the were to move in I placed this on her door step.  I wish I wrote down the type of plant because it smells sooooo good.  I picked it up at Sprouts and have since seen them at many garden places.

March stamp club challenge

This is the card I came up with for our March stamp club. The challenge was to use a paper that might be discontinued or use up your stash.  I loved this idea.  I used quite a bit of my scrap paper.  I punched 9 hexagons out and coordinated some sequins, a sentiment, tied some string and I was done. They came in many different colors so that is why there are so many pictures.

Terri had this for our make and take, we used water color paper and painted the flowers.

Jene paper pieced this one and it is a gift card holder. Our hostess Kim taught us how to use our bird punch to make these lovely tulips.

Asher's birthday gift

I have rubbed off onto my son.  He came up with this awesome idea for his friends birthday gift.  He knew Asher liked yogurt and his Aunt gave us all these drinkables that we don't really like.  He wrapped each yogurt with a dollar bill and put them in a basket.  He covered the yogurt with tinsel to hide the money. I fashioned a card really quickly and tada! gift is done.

this is a bit late but I have not given my blog much attention lately.  Here is the St Patricks tree which has already been converted to a Easter tree.

It never fails Ginger must be on or near my latest project. I love the company but wish I didn't have to disturb her. She looks so comfy. 

The wreath dressed for St Patricks Day.

The decorations are up and the wreath is dressed. I used foam shamrocks and floral wire to get this look. I had to glitter a few since only some came glittered in the package. Between you and me I can never have too much glitter. I sandwitched a bit of floral wire between the to shamrocks. I used my go to glue Alene's tacky glue and waited over night for them to dry.
