made this card for a co-workers birthday. I love the distressed look.

I made the flowers from coffee filters and then sponged on some brown and added glitter.

this shows a bit more of the glitter.

all the flowers were made using punches.

I saw one of these  calanders the first time I was on Pinterest and HAD to make my own so here it is.

This is a calandar/memory keeper. You can document special days for several years  to come. 

St Patties Garland

got the supplies reused of course

the flower is made from a grocery bag. I punched 4 large, 2 medium and 2 small flowers.  I  used a brad to connect them and then painted them with glitter paint.

the scallop flower is made from 2 large scallops glued together and a gem added to the center.

The garland turned out to be quite long.

I made another infinity scarf

I am getting into the Saint Patricks day mood, I had a kelly green shirt I didn't wear anymore and turned it into an infinity scarf. I made some flowers from the leftover shirt pieces. I learned all this from Pinterest. 

Happy Anniversary to me eleven priceless years of love.

hodge podge of a post

Kitties are keeping us entertained daily. 

this was their performance this morning.                   

I became a certified personal fitness trainer and I am setting up workouts for myself and who ever wants to come along. I was training at LBCC yesterday and this was my "gym". I am loving the kind of body weight workouts and endurance training.
