I am a trash digger, I confess

Yesterday was a cleanning day, one trip to the dumpster brought me an unbelievable surprize.
One of my neighbors threw away a box full of a Barbie town home from 1983. I brought it home hoping I could salvage a few items for my daughter. Low and behold the whole town home was in the box. Every piece to the furniture, the home, the canopy to the bed and the instructions were in the box. I was thrilled. It only took a short time to construct and wipe down. My daughter and her friend setIit up and away they played.
I looked on ebay and most Barbie town homes were in the 100$ range. I call that a score! I also enjoyed the trip down memory lane.

Posting some more pix of the owl card.

Been working on an owl card.

Owl punch card

I was requested to make a card for a friend using an owl theme of "welcome to the world". I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. I hope she likes it.

I am a little gaga over this card. I really enjoyed making it. I have to thank Stella for giving me the idea and inspiration to come up with this.

Jordans birthday card.

May Stamp Club

We had a challenge to cover a container and we all went from there.
Terri covered a gift box with some beautiful paper and the roses we learned to make last month.

this is the side view.

Carey covered a ramekin top with some lovely paper and some punched flowers.

Yum she filled it with peanut butter M&Ms.

Kris made this adorable frog and used punches and buttons . I love the butterfly sticker.

you can see where she put the gummy worms.

Monica made this wonderful nugget holder with a tag insert.

Kim made a little bag and filled it with yummy chocolate goodies.

It is the perfect size for a party favor.

Monica missed out spring fever stamp club and this is her addition.

Michele made these candy holders using the big shot dye from Stampin up.

My May stamp club challenge "containers"

I went with a repurpose and reuse idea. I saved all the cans we use the last few weeks.  They came is many different sizes.

I added the rolled rose I learned from Michele last month.

I used brown rice and tea lights for the insides.

I made a bouquet of tissue flowers for Terri our birthday girl.
