I love Pinterest and I am not afraid to admit it.

These are just a few of the things I have learned from my slight addiction to Pinterest.  My goal is to actually complete the crafts and ideas I am continually collecting on my boards. So far so good I have several completed and many "in the works". I need to take several photos and get them posted. Hope to see what you are pinning. Cheers I am on my way back to Pinterest.

supplies: butterfly punch, book pages, pattern card stock, glue, dental floss,.

I punched out over a hundred butterflies from the book pages and then about 30 or so from the card stock.

I placed the first butterfly under the floss and glued the whole surface,  I took the second butterfly and folded it in half and glued half of it down to the butterfly under the floss.

the third butterfly i just added glue to the right hand side and glued it to the butterfly under floss and the second butterfly.

I thought it showed better with the card stock where I put the glue.

the first two butterflies

the third one added.

here is how they are  both arttached.

this is the finished mobile

I love the shadows on the wall, I had a tough time balancing the mobile . It does look crooked a little bit. I am thinking of adding some beads to it too.

home decor again

well I made spagetti for dinner tonight and these are the cans my semi-homemade sauce came from.  They were just screaming "decorate me, I'm too good for the recycle bin".

this is our microscopic mantel so I have to get creative with what goes here.

this is the left-over stick tree from Christmas and now is home to my pink crochet hearts and some dollar tree gerber daises. Don't you just adore the pix of my kids???? I am praying the kittens don't destroy this while we are at school trw.

cards I created

playing with my stamping up stuff, I didn't have a gem to match so I colored a clear one with a Sharpie.

I found a circle stamp that fit my Fiscars circle punch, this card took about 5 mins to make.

punched flowers again

this is made from coffee filters, I added some glitter to this after I assembled it and then scrunched it up.

these are made from double sided pattern cardstock. I used brads to hold the layers together.

this flower is accomplished by punching about 5 or 6 of the same 6 petaled punch.  You cut the first one, and then remove an additional petal as you cut the remaining 5 punched flowers. Then you glue the two petals cut apart together and the layers get smaller as you go.

these are EK success punches some are stamping up and from Joanns

crochet layered flower.

I layered three crocheted flowers together.

I learned how to crochet flowers from Youtube. These flowers  take like 5 mins to make.  I played with the petals and was able to get this layer flower.

of course I had to add a little bling to the center.

Someone pinned this on Pintrest and I just loved the idea. I set this on my hubby's dresser, I hope he plays along.

crocheting hearts

I am a huge fan of Pinterest, I found this heart stitch there and learned how to make this crochet garland.

It comes in pink too.
