Two Tags

I wanted to let the room moms for both my children know much I appreciate all they do. I snuck these into the envelopes they gave me for collecting money.

A Card Of Hope

Olivia's Birthday Card

We had a birthday weekend, so Camille and I made this for a very special friend.

Making a birthday gift

I used book pages and some Alene's tacky glue, (note to self: pick a book without any cuss words, I almost sent this out with 2 inappropriate words showing) I painted all the wood black including the letter K. I glued on the purplish glitter and adhered the K to the frame.
I was inspired from Pinterest the other day and thought of making a birthday gift for a dear friends niece. She is turning 10 so I wanted to make something personalized for her. I picked up my supplies from Micheals and got right to work.

I sponged some of Tim Holtz black soot around the edges.

I then added what I call a diamond wash to the whole frame, it is hard to pick-up with the camera.

another close-up of the "diamond wash" I created. I used 1 part glue, 3 parts water, 5 parts glitter. I didn't want the wash to be sticky and the glitter does rub off if the item is handled a lot.

April Stamp Club

This is the Michelle's beautiful purse made out of patterned paper,  she filled it with this beautiful magnet, and chocolate but I ate that so fast I couldn't take a picture of it.

This is a magnet with so many beautiful embellishments she made them all by hand.

I love the butterfly and the pin has mini bugle beads strung on it.

this tag was Michelle's make and take. She taught us how to make these adorable roses using a circle punch. You cut it into a spiral and then smash it down to open it up.

This is Jene's card, it is so classy. I love the embossing.

This is my Spring has Sprung card, I used bright colors which are not my usual pick. I like the way the ribbon is tucked into the layers.

I just love Chris's bright and beautiful card. She punched and placed each circle and glued them down for 10 cards!

I am in love with this brad of a lady bug. The eyes even move.

Look at this pom-pom trim.

Terri taught us all how to make this precious quilting card, as labor intensive as this looks it is surprisingly easy.

the inside pops up,  it is a special folding technique.

This is Cindy's cutie patootie card.  She always does such detailed work. I wish I had her patience.

I wanted to show how she used crystal effects to make the flowers shine.

Our hostess with the mostest and Stampin Up pro Terri created this beauty. I am seriously thinking the flower punch will be on my next order.

Look at all the glitter detail,  and I just love the hat pin.

This is one of my favorites,  I love this punch and look how Kim punched out the white card stock and created the flower using the back ground paper, genius.
