September stamp club.

Oopsie I have been sitting on about 4 posts. I have not been a good Blogger.  I have been struggling with my creative flow. I only create out on necessity these days, instead of the pleasure of doing it. I have been letting some negativity run things and it is time to stop!

I getting back to my love and "therapy" of  creating. I like to think I am a half full kinda girl by nature, but now I know I need to cultivate my positive attitude and return to my joy. 

Ok enough about that, let's get to the cards. Our challenge was to go back in time to a card we or someone in our group created and add our flair or touch to a new one. 

 As you can see we all had fun and came up with some great cards. Our make and take we're these cute French fry boxes.

Time to celebrate our Grandfathers 94 th birthday. I wanted to make a special card to show the honor of his many years and to make it a little fun. I made picture tutorial I hope it is easy to follow. Enjoy -Cheers

Baby book

My husbands cousin is having her first baby. She lives in Florida and invited us to her shower. Unfortunately I can't afford to fly out there but I wanted something I could send that meant a little more than clothes. I searched home made scrapbooks on Pinterest and found this super fun and easy book I could make. I followed the YouTube video and really like how it turned out.

The scrapbook is the same on both sides as you unfold the pages. I added several pockets and places the slide in photos.

I think in total you can add 12-15 4 by 6 photos or add journaling. 

I made a paper box to send it in the mail. I added a little Velcro closure so she could reuse the box if he wishes.
